Conference 2006 is now a memory. Close to one thousand people from around the diocese gathered at Red Rock Hotel November 17th & 18th to celebrate faith and gain new insights into their spiritual lives. All of the conference speakers were given extremely high ratings by those who participated.
Msgr. Ray East touched the depths of our hearts. As one person expressed, “it was great to hear such a knowledgeable and down to earth message. He truly sent us on a mission...”.
And to the closing panel discussion, many commented how truly inspiring it was and that it made Christ personal in their lives.
To feast on the music of John Angotti, a friend of our diocese is always melody for our hearts. His original song, “Water from the Rock of Faithfulness” written for our conference, was well received. He has just recently recorded the piece and it will appear on his next album.
Thanks to the Diocesan Conference Committee, and all who participated. Thanks also, to the Red Rock Hotel Staff who many described as friendly, cordial and very helpful. That is reason to hold Conference 2007 back at Red Rock!
