Greg Kern, Director, Energy Efficiency and Customer Strategies, Nevada Power, presented a check in the amount of $88,359 to Reverend Father Robert Stoeckig, Pastor of St. Joseph, Husband of Mary.

SolarGenerations offers incentives for its residential and commercial customers who install photovoltaic systems (PV) on their premises.  The installation of 30 kW of PV panel qualified the church as an eligible project for a special rebate.

The photovoltaic system allows individuals to produce their own electricity with no noise or air pollution – and no moving parts – while using a clean, renewable resource.
